‘We walk together’

On Sunday I had the privilege of taking part in a walk with the Jewish Christian Muslim Association, where we visited first a church, then a synagogue and finished at a mosque. As we walked between the three sites there was opportunity to meet a number of Muslims (many who attend the mosque a couple of blocks from our house) and Jews, as well as fellow Christians from other traditions (mostly Roman Catholic of Anglo Catholic). I think the act of walking together makes sense for our traditions, as our forebears Avraham/Abraham/Ibrahim and Sara/Sarah were nomads.
