On journalling

In one of my reflecting-on-2016 posts I mentioned that the Ignatians have a practise of reflecting not just at the end of the year but at the end of each day. This year I’m going to be trying to reflect a bit more regularly. I guess I am lucky because I have a lot of spaces for reflection built into my life, but most of these are reflecting with others, and I think it would be beneficial to be doing my own reflection every day. This year I need to spend some time each day journalling, and I’ll be catching up regularly with a mentor to talk about my reflection. I won’t be posting my journalling here, but I’m sure my journalling will feed into what I post here.

Do you have a discipline of journalling, or have you had one in the past? How have you found journalling?
