End of  the shared zone

I came across this modified sign at Melbourne University last week. I see it fairly often and it often gets me thinking about shared spaces and their limits. Our home is a shared space more than most homes are. We have folks coming and saying with us throughout the year, but but we can manage that because we have ends to our ‘shared zones’. Our guests have their rooms (for the duration of their stay) and we have our own space upstairs and in the second unit. We also have ends to the shared space in time, because of holidays, which we’re appreciating at the moment.

Where are the shared spaces in your life? What are the limits of your shared spaces?
