Spent some time yesterday singing with folks from some of the ratbag Christians (and many Muslims, Jews, socialists, general do-gooders) at the Palm Sunday march. Peter Dutton said we can bleat all we want. I think one of the things about singing (and particularly singing together) is that it can help to sustain a movement. When it seems like things aren’t changing we need practises that will keep our spirits up and strengthen ties with our collaborators. For that reason our household and our collaborators have been making sure we make regular spaces to sing together, especially since it has some things have seemed more difficult in recent years.
